Description:
Body about 35x0.1 mm, plus two tentacles usually 0.4 mm long, lacking pinnules. Bridle variable in extent, composed of several separate pieces. Chaetae absent, but the opisthosoma has up to 11 segments, mostly separated by septa and surface grooves, other body regions not delimited by grooves.
Tube transparent, smooth-walled, ringless and tough, up to 134 x 0.13 mm (s_brattstromi-tube.jpg).

Habitat:
Tubes attached to rotting wood, old rope, etc.

Distribution:
Hardangerfjorden, west Norway, between 100 and 870 m depth.
